Women’s Weekend

The holidays can be a beautiful time to enjoy festivities, gather with friends and family members and celebrate Christ’s coming into the world. But, let’s be honest, they can also be a very heavy lift for many weeks as we cook and clean, host guests, wrap gifts, manage busy schedules and try to figure out how to get all the things done!

Women are generally exhausted by the end of December. So, there is simply no better time than the start of the New Year to spend some dedicated time away to simply rest, relax and recharge.

In Irish Tradition, January 6 (Epiphany) is called “Nollaig na mBan” or Women’s Christmas. Along with Dec 25 and 26, Nollaig na mBan is one of the most important days of the Christmas calendar in Ireland. You can learn more here.
