Ways to Serve

There are many ways to serve and participate in outreach through Christ Church. We partner with local organizations and ministries to serve our neighbors and strengthen the Tuscaloosa community. Through financial support, volunteer service and hands-on projects, we seek to put our faith into action throughout the year.

Organizations interested in receiving funding may apply for consideration through our annual grant process.

Also, our Outreach In Action Committee plans and implements ongoing projects for all ages throughout the year. If you know of a need, please contact Outreach Coordinator Nick Dubose, and we will see if we can help.

Lazarus Ministry

Each week Christ Church opens its doors to those in need of financial assistance with utility bills. Volunteers offer compassionate listening, prayer, and practical assistance to neighbors facing financial hardship. This ministry is funded by member donations and the annual Lazarus Toy Sale. Contact Frances Fritz to volunteer!

REACH

Christ Church supports REACH throughout the year by helping provide financial assistance and essential resources for vulnerable University of Alabama students. You can help by making contributions to help sustain the high level of support that the REACH program offers to all its participants.
