Christ Episcopal College Ministry welcomes undergraduate and graduate students from all schools in the Tuscaloosa and West Alabama area, as well as students in town during breaks and holidays. We have a rotating schedule of events, including special meal gatherings, study nights and formation classes. We want to help you find community, connect with the larger church and grow in your faith.
We know it can be hard to be away from home and juggling social life, class assignments and all of the decision about your future! Christ Church would like to be your home away from home and a place where you are reminded that you are not alone on the journey.
A couple of times a semester, college students gather for a meal after the 11 AM Eucharist. This is the perfect opportunity to grab some free food and make a new friend.
There are lots of ways to get involved at Christ Church and students are invited to plug in. Volunteers are always needed for worship services, the Community Soup Bowl and special events, to name a few. If you’d like to know more about current opportunities, contact us!
Our building has several spaces that can be used for study or respite away from campus if you need a quiet spot or just a change of scenery.
Christ Church also has a 3rd floor gym for basketball and pickleball that can be used anytime you need an alternative to the rec center.
